The objective is to ensure the focus on building the capacity of the central office to better lead and support schools in improving teaching and learning. This includes recruiting and supporting effective staff; engaging families and communities; guiding curriculum, instruction, and assessment; and providing safe and supportive environments. This site can provide a workable framework for other states in developing their own goals.
